We all want to look our best as we age, retaining a youthful glow that helps us to appear as young as we feel. Unfortunately, it’s not always easy to get the nutrients we need through diet alone, especially if you’ve switched to a healthier vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.

If you want your insides and outsides to match, the right iV boost can help you to look and feel amazing. Most of us maintain healthy and luxurious hair, nails, and skin with a diet high in meat, but as we age, eating a lot of meat can do more harm than good to our heart health. Just because you’re moving toward a meat-free lifestyle doesn’t mean you have to give up on glowing skin and a youthful appearance. With regularly scheduled Beauty Boost services, you can get the nutrients you need and continue to look fabulous.

iV Ingredients

Vitamins (Water Soluble)

Vitamin A

Along with being critical for healthy embryo development, Vitamin A boosts the immune system and helps clear our skin of acne. Healthy Vitamin A levels also support clear vision and the gene transcription from DNA that builds healthy replacement cells and tissues in our body. Like most vitamins and especially fat soluble vitamins, modern people frequently have lower than normal vitamin A levels.

Vitamin D

You might know active vitamin D3 as “the sunshine vitamin” because your body produces it as a response to sun exposure. This essential vitamin is needed to maintain all kinds of healthy functions and systems in the body, from strong teeth and bones, to robust brain, immune, cardiopulmonary, and nervous system functionality. It also plays a role in regulating insulin levels and fighting the onset of certain cancers. In short, you simply can’t do without vitamin D3.

Vitamin E

Our bodies produce vitamin E through sebum the oily substance expressed through our pores. When our skin is dry, this in part means that our body does have enough vitamin E to protect us from sun damage and free radicals. Vitamin E also helps in the treatment of skin inflammation.

Vitamin K

As a catalyst for blood coagulation, Vitamin K is key to tissue healing and repair. It is also a co-factor in calcium absorption resulting in stronger bones. Finally Vitamin K is cardioprotective.

Major Minerals

Biotin (B7)

Biotin, sometimes referred to as B7, is sourced from animal products – meat, egs and dairy primarily. Biotin is important in the manufacture of proteins that rebuild and replace our shorter lived tissue that comprise our hair, skin and nails.

Folic Acid (B9)

Also known as folate, or folic acid, vitamin B9 contributes to the production of red blood cells. It aids in healthy tissue growth, cell function, and DNA production. Like other B complex vitamins, B9 is involved in digestion, helping to increase appetite and produce digestive acid.

Other Nutrients

This micronutrient is a powerful antioxidant that helps to fight free radicals. This, in turn, could improve skin conditions like psoriasis, improve insulin resistance, and help to reduce risk factors for serious diseases and chronic conditions like diabetes, cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis.
